Kitty Hannah Eden, I really enjoyed this. I liked the way it, in some way, describes the disembodied experience of writing through something very physical — the sea, the anchors, the sailors. I also enjoyed the way certain repeated phrases wove their way through this piece creating new meaning as they went. There was also a rhythm that I found intriguing but I wasn’t sure if you were intentionally creating a rhythm or if this rhythm simply found its way into this poem naturally — either of which is beautiful in its own way.
